Full building facade installation of figure drawings, drawn free-hand, on site from pedestrians, by Alice Warnecke Sutro featuring consumers and producers in the town of Healdsburg. Commissioned by Little Saint, this piece is one of three installations by local women artists that will roll out over summer 2021 with the goal of activating the facade of the modern grange building while the interior is being renovated.
Alice’s project is made possible by an equipment donation from Aaction Rents, an indispensable wine industry partner, who is providing the scissor lift to accomplish the top level portraits. Thank you also to Atlas Vineyard Management for orchestrating the equipment donation.
Little Saint will open to the public in fall 2021 at the former SHED space at 25 North Street, a few blocks from the Healdsburg Plaza. This marks the third location for Saint Joseph’s Arts Society launched by interior designer Ken Fulk as a space to inspire dialogue in arts, fashion, food, craftsmanship, design, and tech. Artists Victoria Wagner and Féven Zewdi will be creating their installations over the following summer months.
